Today marks the sixth anniversary of Kurt Vonnegut's death. He's been my all time favorite writer ever since I read Slaughterhouse-Five in my early teen years. Since then his writings have heavily impacted my outlook on life. Vonnegut is known for his cynical beliefs, but he has honestly given me more hope than any author ever has. Rest in peace, Mr. Vonnegut.
Many people need desperately to receive this message: ‘I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone.’”
